Description
This watch adds a unique visual element and perhaps prompts the owner to reflect on the rich history of the Arabian Peninsula. Straight, hollowed indices mark the hours between those represented on the turning cubes. Encircling the outer edge are empty dots denoting the minutes, with a solid dot marking each 5-minute interval. Sword-shaped hour and minute hands, the Byrne logo, and a small Swiss made mention at 6 o’clock complete the image.

The dial is an important part of a watch’s personality. The dial of a Byrne watch requires 45 separate stages to produce. Finishing is entirely by hand for impeccable results, with a straight-grain finish on the dial and index plates, completed by rhodium-plating and Super-LumiNova.
The hand-crafted hour and minute hands echo the dial, with a straight-grain finish and contouring in Super-LumiNova.
The case is how we recognise a watch. It defines its identity. Byrne Watch’s designer built on his experience in restoration to imagine a sculpted case whose profiled lines bring to mind a race car’s contours. The bezel and sapphire crystal are level with the minute track. Easy-grip screw-down crown. Hand-finished satin-brushed bezel, caseband and crown. Screw-down sapphire caseback with recesses for the engraved series number.
