The dial is an important part of a watch’s personality. The dial of a Byrne watch requires 45 separate stages to produce. Finishing is entirely by hand for impeccable results, with a straight-grain finish on the dial and index plates, completed by rhodium-plating and Super-LumiNova.
The hand-crafted hour and minute hands echo the dial, with a straight-grain finish and contouring in Super-LumiNova.
The case is how we recognise a watch. It defines its identity. Byrne Watch’s designer built on his experience in restoration to imagine a sculpted case whose profiled lines bring to mind a race car’s contours. The bezel and sapphire crystal are level with the minute track. Easy-grip screw-down crown. Hand-finished satin-brushed bezel, caseband and crown. Screw-down sapphire caseback with recesses for the engraved series number.
Comfort was a priority for the watch’s designer, who commissioned Manufacture Jean Rousseau to create a bespoke strap with curved inserts that form a natural extension of the case. In durable, high-grade rubber or crocodile.
